Scripture tells us that Faith without works is dead.
This does not mean we should adhere to a doctrine of works. BEING good does not get one to heaven. It is not about what we do. It is not about doing the right thing to assure one's salvation that one will "make it to heaven."
It is about reaching others with the love of God to let them experience His free gift of salvation. "I can speak with the tongues of angels...but without love I am but a clanging cymbal." It is not about pointing out the faults of others, but sharing God's love, grace and forgiveness.
